Dorm Assignments
Students may request preferred roommates during registration. Dorm groups are organized by gender, church group, and age to support a comfortable and safe camp experience.
Church Leader Input
After June 30, SYC will send each church a list of their registered students. Leaders will be asked to help organize their students into dorm groupings. Because leaders know their students best, this helps ensure friends who should be together are placed together—and students who may need separation are assigned appropriately.
Leader Placement
Leaders stay in dorm suites with their students to provide support, supervision, and connection throughout the week.

Why This Matters
Thoughtful grouping ahead of time creates smoother check‑in on Day 1 and sets students and leaders up for a great week.
Changes at Camp
Dorm changes during camp are limited and handled directly by the SYC Team.
Transportation

Church Responsibility
Each church is responsible for arranging transportation to and from camp. This may include organizing a bus or coordinating carpooling among families.

Leader Coordination
Leaders are expected to work with their group to ensure every student has a safe, reliable, and timely ride to camp. Clear communication with parents about transportation plans is essential.

Parking
There is ample on‑campus parking for both vehicles and buses.

Arrival Window on Sunday
Registration runs from 6:30–7:00pm Sunday. Students should not arrive before 6:00pm. If a student will arrive after 7:30pm, please notify the SYC Team so we can prepare for their check‑in.

Departure on Saturday
Pick‑up begins at 10:00am, and we ask that all students and leaders depart by 12:00pm. If your group requires a later departure, please contact the SYC Team before camp so arrangements can be made.
Promo Kit
Take and use a full set of promotional materials to help spread the word about SYC within your church community. These resources are designed to make promotion simple, consistent, and engaging—whether during Sunday services, youth nights, parent communication, or social media.
All theme‑specific promotional materials—including slides, posters, social graphics, and announcement text—are available on the Theme Page.
