What is SYC?
A Christian Camp for Students Grades 6 - 12
Summer Youth Celebration (SYC) Alberta is a summer camp held at Prairie College in Three Hills, created for students from churches connected with the Canadian National Baptist Convention (CNBC). Our heart is to partner with local churches to help students experience Christ through worship, discipleship, community, and adventure.
We believe that God loves every person individually and desires a personal relationship with them. At camp, we intentionally create space for students to step away from distractions, encounter Jesus, and grow in their faith. Our prayer is that each student will be able to focus on their relationship with God and discover more of who He is and who He has created them to be.

Leadership Team
SYC is planned and led by a dedicated team of volunteers from churches across the province. Each person brings unique skills, passions, and perspectives that help shape camp into the experience it is today. More than anything, they’re a group of people who love youth and feel called to serve—joyfully giving their time so students can encounter Jesus and grow in community.
Our Beliefs

Camp Location
SYC Alberta is hosted at Prairie College in Three Hills, Alberta—a small, welcoming town located about 90 minutes northeast of Calgary. The campus provides modern dorms, plenty of green space, and well-equipped facilities for worship, teaching, and recreation. It’s a setting that feels both safe and set apart, giving students space to deepen friendships, grow in their faith, and have fun together.
