SYC Scholarship Program
Because every student belongs at camp.
At SYC, we never want finances to be the reason a student misses out on camp. Our registration prices are set simply to cover the cost of running camp—not to make a profit—and we know that for many families, those costs can feel overwhelming. Our Scholarship Program exists to help remove those barriers and help every student experience a life‑giving week at camp.
How the Scholarship Process Works
Step 1: Start the Conversation
Our scholarship form is not a test or a qualification process—it’s a conversation starter. Every family’s situation is unique, and this form helps us understand how we can best support you.
Step 2: Partnering With Your Church
We believe in working together. Many churches are eager to help students attend camp, and we coordinate with them.
The form will ask whether you’ve spoken with your church and whether we may contact your group leader to explore support options together.
Step 3: Tell Us What You Can Contribute
You’ll be asked how many children you’re sending to camp and what amount your family can reasonably contribute per child. There’s no “right” number—just be honest about what’s manageable for you.
Step 4: Our Team Follows Up Personally
Once you submit the form, a member of the SYC Team will reach out to continue the conversation. We’ll work with you and your church to create a plan that ensures your student(s) can attend.
Scholarship Deadline
To give our team enough time to coordinate support, all scholarship applications must be submitted by May 15.
